If you really want to test your connection speed, try SpeedTest

I think it is the best website which tests your speed. If you close all your browser windows, and just let the speedtest window, you can test your really connection.

My ISP is Cablevision (Fibertel) S.A. And they say I have 2mbits of connection... that's false, because I share the speed with a lot of people... So they are liars
